Where are my iPhone apps after IOS5 update

For a minute I thought I lost all my apps. But it appears after the final reboot of the iPhone, it starts restoring your apps one by one in the background. It's taking forever, granted I had over 250 apps installed. I can use the iPhone however, but I would rather not use it until everything is there.

IOS5 update to be available via itunes on Wednesday. Check your App Store on your iphone or ipad to update your apps. There have been a lot of IOS5 compatibility updates for a bunch of apps lately. Siri on iPhone 4

I loaded Siri today, and it said the following: "I've been replaced! The new Siri is even smarter and better-looking than me, and waiting for you on the iPhone 4S. I'll be leaving for home October 15. Until then, how can I help you? "

What does this mean. The Siri app will stop working for iPhone 4 and below? Or does it mean the IOS5 will have Siri built in? More to come!
